Adnan Hoq

CSE Ph.D. Candidate at University of Notre Dame

๐Ÿ“ข About

My name is Adnan Hoq. I am a fourth year Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Notre Dame. My research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computational social science, and digital behavior, focusing on understanding how people interact with and are influenced by digital information ecosystems. I study the role of AI systems, particularly Large Language Models, in shaping human behavior, decision-making, and information consumption online. My work emphasizes human-centered design, platform transparency, and fairness, aiming to inform the development of AI-driven systems and online interfaces that empower users. By combining insights from AI, social science, and cognitive theory, I seek to advance understanding of digital behavior, improve user experiences, and guide the responsible design and deployment of AI technologies.
